Mining the Earth

It is true that human beings require a number of minerals to meet some of their needs, basic or not. But it is also true that excessive consumption of some humans are destroying their livelihoods and the environment on the other side of humanity, who live in areas affected by mining.

Because of its impacts, mining is one activity that should be tightly controlled at all stages, from exploration and exploitation for the transportation, processing and consumption. In many cases, the only means strict control restrictions.

To claim that the mining company itself controlled is more than naive: it makes sense. Even the control of the government are not sufficient, considering the economic and political power that has proven mining company on them. It should empower all citizens to participate directly in this control.

Ozone

Ozone

Between 19 and 23 kilometers above the earth in the stratosphere, a thin layer of gas, the ozone layer, surrounds and protects the earth from harmful solar rays.

Ozone is produced by the effect of sunlight on oxygen and is the only substance in the atmosphere that can absorb harmful ultraviolet radiation (UV-B) from the sun. This thin layer makes life possible on Earth.

Air Pollution

Air Polluting

Astronauts returning from his trip with a new mindset that makes them feel more appreciative of the Earth and understand the need for treatment.

From space is not the border, especially, economic interests, but some of the very bad influences, such as pollution of the atmosphere.

85% of the air near the Earth in the troposphere, a thin layer of only 15 km higher layers of the atmosphere has a little air, but protect us from UV (ozone layer) and meteorites (ionosphere).
